Creative Direction on the Legal Design Development Project for Miris. I developed moodboards, presentations, the layout and the illustration shown here. Visual symbols developed by Bernadette Gerardo.
This was a design development- and mapping project for Miris together with Ernst & Young. The Project is facilitated by The Innovation Effect (TIE). TIE is a consultant company who connects students and companies through solving problem scopes by innovative methods.
The project aimed to make Miris' juridical contracts more user-friendly and. understanding through Legal Design by simplifying the language, visualization and improving the structure of the content. We were also challenged to map out how this would give Miris a competitive advantage.
In a transdisciplinary team we experienced how to collaborate and how to present our work both by presenting preparation presentations for The Innovation Effect and by presenting status presentations for Miris.
Through a period of 9 weeks, we worked on this project in three phases. The first phase took into account the definition of the project scope and collection of data. Furthermore, we developed the prototype and conducted testing in the second phase. We developed the prototype, considering the new insights from the test results in the third- and last phase where the finished result also were presented.
This resulted in a concept development product consisting of two concepts: "Miris' Story" and "The User's Choice". The final product is a result of a more user friendly and understandable communication of Miris' Terms of Condition and Cookie Policy, developed through the use of Legal Design.
